The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India celebrated International Yoga Day at Corbynscove Beach today morning. The event was a resounding success, promoting health, wellness, and tourism in the exquisite Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The collaboration between AATO and the Ministry of Tourism highlighted their shared vision of showcasing the beauty of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands while promoting wellness tourism in the region. The event provided visitors with an opportunity to experience the tranquility of Corbynscove Beach and engage in rejuvenating yoga practices led by expert instructors.
The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from AATO members, tourists, lifeguards, tourism stakeholders, members of Andaman Sea Adventure Associatiom and dedicated personnel from the TSET team and A&N Police department. Their combined efforts ensured the seamless organization of the event, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
Esteemed yoga instructors from Ayush and Patanjali played a crucial role in highlighting the significance of yoga during the event. Participants were guided through various yoga postures and breathing exercises, enabling them to experience the positive effects of yoga on their physical and mental well-being.
